The opportunity
We're looking for a product‑minded Software Engineer who's comfortable owning features end‑to‑end—from back‑end datapipelines to shipping a quick React screen—while pushing the boundaries of what LLMs workflows can do for a complexindustry. You'll join a very small, high‑performing team at the stage where every decision still shapes the company, workingwithin our secure development environment.
Tech you'll touch
- Python
- React with TypeScript
- PostgreSQL and Qdrant
- LangChain
- Cloud: Azure
What you'll do
- Design, build and iterate on RAG pipelines that turn messy, domain‑specific documents into actionable insights, ensuring data privacy and security throughout
- Ship thin vertical slices across the stack, rapidly and autonomously
- Use and extend our in‑house benchmarking framework to evaluate quality, latency and cost of every AI workflow
- Collaborate directly with founders and early customers to transform fuzzy ideas into shipping plans
- Influence technical direction and engineering culture as we grow from <10 to 30+ people
- Follow secure coding practices and contribute to maintaining our information security standards
- Participate in security awareness initiatives and apply security best practices in daily development work
You might be a fit if you…
- Have 5**+ years** of professional software engineering or equivalent startup hustle
- Are fluent in Python
- Possess hands‑on expertise with LLMs & vector search (prompt engineering, embeddings, evaluation)
- Enjoy diving deep into gnarly data until every edge‑case makes sense
- Thrive in early‑stage ambiguity: self‑directed, outcome‑oriented, biased to action
- Understand the importance of data security and confidentiality in handling sensitive business information
- Prefer working from London or Madrid—though we'll consider exceptional remote candidates who overlap UK/Spain hours
